Leighton Meester Willing to Go Bald for a Role

Despite her status as the global ambassador of Herbal Essences, the Blair Waldorf of 'Gossip Girl' hints that she is up for shaving her head if a role requires her to do it.

Hollywood beauty Leighton Meester is not afraid of going bald. Though she is the global ambassador of hair care brand Herbal Essences, the actress who plays Blair Waldorf in The CW's "Gossip Girl" has given a slight hint she would not hesitate in shaving her signature long locks if for the right role.

"I know it's just hair and I can change it however I want," the co-star of Selena Gomez in "Monte Carlo" told People magazine when talking about her hair. She further noted she is willing to go bald to show her dedication to her acting career. "I haven't shaved my head or anything like that. But, you know if I needed to! It's part of my job to change my hair," she explained.

Though always appearing as a super stylish lady in "Gossip Girl", Leighton admitted she did not really care that much about her appearance in real life. "I'm not super OCD when it comes to every little flyaway," the actress who plays opposite Blake Lively in the teen drama series confessed, before adding, "I like being a little undone."

Her look aside, the ex-girlfriend of Sebastian Stan has collaborated with pop singer and song writer Stephen Jerzak, and his single featuring her, "She Said", has just been released. On July 15, she re-tweeted Stephen's announcement, "RT@ShahineEzell: Everyone get Stephen Jerzak's new single ft. @itsmeleighton 'She Said'; on iTunes NOW!"
