Representative for Amy insists that the 'Rehab' singer won't get the 'Telephone' hitmaker's help with her new album, stressing that the teaming-up story is completely bogus.
Lady GaGa will not have any collaboration with
Amy Winehouse. It was Amy's representative who dismissed the rumor that the "Rehab" singer will get some help from the "Telephone" hitmaker for her comeback album. The spokesperson simply told Gossip Cop, "it's not true at all that the two singers are teaming up."
The duet rumor spread like a wildfire soon after the National Enquirer reported that 24-year-old GaGa has reached out to rescue the troubled Amy. The tabloid claimed that
Mark Ronson, the longtime producer of Amy, contacted GaGa's reps after he learned that the "Poker Face" hitmaker revealed her admiration at Amy.
On the rumored collaboration, a source told the tab, "It's been agreed that GaGa will go to London in September just before her European tour to help Winehouse with the new album, her first release since 2006." The source further added, "Lady GaGa sees Amy as a kindred spirit, the British bad girl and the American bad girl!"
While Lady GaGa won't make a duet track with Amy Winehouse,
Rihanna has expressed her hope to team up the "Bad Romance" singer. She reportedly said, as quoted by The Daily Record, "A collaboration between me and Gaga would be really cool because we both love the same music style and fashion really. Definitely we will get hot and sexy video. I would like to work with her, who wouldn't want?"
