Starring as a pom-pom waving dancer in 'Hellcats', the 'High School Musical' star reveals that her mother has been showing her what moves she needs to know in addition to giving her 'some great tips'.
's mother is teaching her how to be a cheerleader. The "High School Musical" star appears in new TV series "Hellcats" as a pom-pom waving dancer and her mom Lisa has been showing what moves she needs to know.
"I was never a cheerleader but luckily my mom was," Ashley said. "And she's been giving me some great tips. It's hard but I'm really enjoying it and it's a great way to keep fit. In fact I've never been so fit!"
The 25-year-old actress has previously admitted her mother is the biggest influence in her life. She said, "My mom is very confident and she was always a role model of mine. I never really looked up to celebrities when I was young."
"I definitely work hard at stuff. I never give up on things. If I'm going to do something, I'm going to go a hundred per cent into it - just like my mom."
