The 'Beautiful' singer shows off her golden vocal singing Etta James classic 'Something's Got a Hold on Me' in a new clip for her film 'Burlesque'.
Christina Aguilera has treated viewers with her golden vocal in the new clip of "Burlesque". In the fresh clip of the musical film, the former member of The Mickey Mouse club belts out her rendition of Etta James' "Something's Got a Hold on Me" while dancing in her cocktail waitress clothes.
In the movie, the 29-year-old songstress plays Ali, a small-town girl with a big voice who escapes hardship and an uncertain future to follow her dreams to Los Angeles. After stumbling upon The Burlesque Lounge, a majestic but ailing theater that is home to an inspired musical revue, Ali lands a job as a cocktail waitress from Tess, portrayed by Cher, the club's proprietor and headliner.
Besides Cher, Christina also stars alongside Eric Dane, Kristen Bell, Julianne Hough, Cam Gigandet and Stanley Tucci. She worked under the direction of helmer Steve Antin. The drama musical itself will be released in theaters across the U.S. on November 24.
