The 'Wild Horses' singer is set to collaborate with Amber Stassi, a mother of three who wins YouTube competition 'Susan's Search', on her forthcoming album 'The Gift'.
Susan Boyle is to duet with an unknown American artist. The "Wild Horses" singer, who shot to fame after appearing on
Simon Cowell's talent search show "Britain's Got Talent" in 2009, has announced mother-of-three Amber Stassi is the lucky winner of her YouTube competition "Susan's Search", and the pair are now set to duet on Susan's forthcoming album "The Gift".
"I really wanted to give someone the opportunity I had," Susan said. "Amber is a remarkable and talented lady and I am really looking forward to singing with her. I never thought so many people would want to take part in this and I want to thank everyone. It was very hard to choose a winner as there are so many talented singers around the world. Amber really stood out for me though. I enjoyed her audition clip very much, she has a lovely, very beautiful voice."
Susan, whose own audition for "Britain's Got Talent" has now been viewed more than 500 million times on YouTube, called the winner Thursday, August 12, from her home in Scotland to notify her of her success.
Amber explained, "Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would win this competition. To receive this gift from Susan is truly a blessing. This is a chance to give my kids a good memory and maybe a chance at a better life. I can't believe I spoke with Susan - and that Susan and even Simon Cowell has seen my audition! This is crazy!"
