Wedding Photos Emerge, Hilary Duff Jets Off for Honeymoon

Marrying her hockey star fiance Mike Comrie in an intimate sunset ceremony, the 'Beauty and the Briefcase' actress looks pretty in her strapless Vera Wang gown with her hair in a bun.

Just a day after she exchanged her wedding vows with hockey star fiance Mike Comrie, Hilary Duff was spotted sneaking off on a private jet for honeymoon in Southern California. On Sunday, August 15, the 22-year-old songstress was captured all smiles as she made her way into a private jet wearing a casual outfit. She paired a tank top with a jeans, and wore a pair of flip-flop.

The "Beauty & the Briefcase" actress tied the knot with the 29-year-old athlete on Saturday, August 14 in an intimate ceremony at a $29 million estate near the San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, California. A series of photos from the wedding has popped out exposing her looking pretty in her strapless Vera Wang gown with her hair in a bun.

In front of 100 of the couple's closest family and friends, the "Stay Cool" actress walked down the aisle, which lined with candles and rose petals, with her mother by her side. Her older sister Haylie Duff served as her maid of honor. "It was one of the most beautiful weddings I've ever seen," an insider told Us Magazine. "Absolutely stunning. They thought of every last detail and it was an incredible sight."

Hilary Duff began dating Mike Comrie in 2007 when he was with the New York Islanders. During a Hawaiian vacation in February, he got down on one knee to present her with a 14-carat, radiant-cut sparkler and ask her hand in marriage on the balcony of their room at the Four Seasons Resort in Maui. This is the first wedding for both Hilary and Mike.
