The first trailer of the Darren Aronofsky-directed movie takes a look at the life of veteran ballerina Nina as she explores her dark side while developing a crush on her rival.
Natalie Portman has shared a girl-on-girl action with Mila Kunis for "Black Swan", and its newly-released first trailer has shared a look at their passionate kiss. Debuted via Apple, the sneak peek video is narrated by Natalie's Nina and also gives a taste of the sexual tension between her and Vincent Cassel's artistic director character Thomas Leroy.
Nina is the best ballerina in a New York City ballet company. When the company is producing Swan Lake, artistic director Thomas decides to replace prima ballerina Beth MacIntyre with her. But, she finds a competition in new dancer Lily, who manages to impress Thomas as well. Nina fits the role of the White Swan, while Lily is the guile and sensual Black Swan. As Nina begins exploring her dark side, their rivalry turns into a bizarre friendship.
"Black Swan" is a supernatural thriller that comes from the hand of "The Wrestler" director Darren Aronofsky. Winona Ryder, Barbara Hershey and "Gossip Girl" hunk Sebastian Stan are in supporting roles. Before being released in limited U.S. theaters on December 1, it will be screened at the 35th Annual Toronto International Film Festival, which runs from September 9 to 19.
