A blooper reel from the upcoming "Gossip Girl" DVD has sneaked out for viewing pleasure, giving away the cracking-smile outtakes from season three. Stealing the spotlight in the compilation of footage containing actors' mistakes was one of the series stars, Chace Crawford, with his nip slips joke.
When forgetting his lines while lying under the sheets with co-star Blake Lively by his side, the actor who takes on the role of Nate Archibald in The CW series throws a joke, "My nips showin'? 'Cause I don't want dat to happen!" The snippet can be seen at around the 2:20 minute mark. In another scene, he smells his body before announcing he smells bad.
Chace isn't the only cast members taped making funny mistakes during the shooting of season three. Blake, Leighton Meester, Penn Badgley, Ed Westwick and Taylor Momsen also contributed to this gag reel. Blake and Ed, in particular, can be seen struggling to pronounce words they have to say in a scene.
"Gossip Girl" will return to the small screen with season four on Monday, September 13 at 9 P.M. ET/PT. The new season will be kicked off with an episode titled "Belles de Jour". In it, Serena and Blair enjoy grand and romantic summer in Paris where Chuck mysteriously shows up with a brand new identity and girlfriend Eva.
