has been arrested on suspicion of DUI. According to Los Angeles Times, the "Way U Move" singer was taken into police custody on Saturday night, August 21 at around 10.40 P.M. after being stopped at a DUI checkpoint near the Marina Del Rey section of Los Angeles.
Officer Cleon Joseph of the Los Angeles Police Department detailed to the publication that only a few hours after her arrest on suspicion of misdemeanor drunken driving, the widow of Notorious B.I.G. has been released on bail. The Associated Press further reported that the car of the R&B crooner was impounded.
It wasn't the first time the 37-year-old songstress gets herself in trouble with the law. In 2004, she and her current husband, record company executive Todd Russaw, were arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and cocaine during a traffic stop in Atlanta. Following the incident, the couple had to spend 13 weeks in rehab for an addiction treatment program.
