Jessica Alba Steals Spotlight at World Premiere of 'Machete'

Making an appearance at the special screening event held in Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles, Jessica wows fans with her short black-and-gold zigzag dress that she paired with bondage-style heels.

Jessica Alba has proved she is indeed a camera beauty at the world premiere of "Machete". Making an appearance at the special screening event that was held at the historic Orpheum Theatre in downtown Los Angeles, the actress who plays Sartana in the stole the spotlight with her short black-and-gold zigzag dress.

The 29-year-old beauty paired her metallic number with a bondage-style heels. Coming to the August 25 event in style, she wowed the crowd gathering at the venue when arriving in an orange low rider. On the red carpet, she posed for photographs with two of her co-stars, Danny Trejo and Michelle Rodriguez, and signed autographs for fans.

While Jessica brought glamor to the special event, co-star Michelle went with a casual look. The 32-year-old actress opted to hit the red carpet in jeans, a skull print T-shirt and leather jacket. Their troubled co-star, Lindsay Lohan, was absence from the event although she has just been released from rehab.

"Machete" revolves around a renegade former Mexican Federale, who roams the streets of Texas after a shakedown from drug lord Torrez. Reluctantly, he takes an offer from spin doctor Benz to assassinate McLaughlin a corrupt Senator. Double crossed and on the run, he braves the odds with the help of Luz, Padre and April all while being tracked by Sartana.

An expansion of a fake trailer shown in 2007 "Grindhouse", this action movie is directed by Robert Rodriguez and set to be released in theaters across the United States on September 3. In addition to Jessica, Danny, Michelle and Lindsay, it is supported by Robert De Niro, Steven Seagal, Rose McGowan and Daryl Sabara.
