Audrina Patridge, Bristol Palin to Compete on Season 11 of 'DWTS'

'Dirty Dancing' actress Jennifer Grey, singer Brandy and 'Jersey Shore' hunk The Situation are also among those lined up for the latest edition of 'Dancing with the Stars'.

Which celebrities will put on their dancing shoes for season 11 of "Dancing with the Stars" have finally been announced. On Monday night, August 30, Tom Bergeron and Brooke Burke officially confirmed that Audrina Patridge, the former star of "The Hills", and Bristol Palin, the daughter of ex-vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin, are among the contestants.

On a live press conference during the "Bachelor Pad", the co-hosts of the dancing show also unveiled the other celebs vying for the coveted mirror ball trophy. "Jersey Shore" hunk The Situation, former "Baywatch" star David Hasselhoff and former NBA star-turned-actor Rick Fox are included in the list.

To offer some challenge to those five were "Dirty Dancing" star Jennifer Grey and R&B star Brandy. Comedienne Margaret Cho, NFL quarterback Kurt Warner, "Brady Bunch" star Florence Henderson, "Cory in the House" star Kyle Massey, and singer Michael Bolton rounded up the line-up.

The new season of "DWTS" premieres on Monday, September 20 on ABC. The celebrity-professional pairings will be announced on Wednesday, September 1. Meanwhile, on the new line-up itself, casting producer Deena Katz told USA Today, "It's an oddball group. Going into the 11th season, it's challenging trying to find something fresh. You always need buzz. And I wanted a cast that you didn't have to Google."
