Liam Hemsworth Hopes for Reconciliation With Miley Cyrus

The Will Blakelee of 'The Last Song' is said to be into their relationship a lot more than his ex-girlfriend was, and is holding out hope that they will get back together in the future.

Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus have indeed chosen to part ways after about a year together, but rumor has it, he wants her back. Hollywood Life has recently come out with the claim that the Will Blakelee of "The Last Song" was into the relationship a lot more than his Disney star ex-girlfriend was.

One source close to Liam informed the site that the 20-year-old Australian hunk "liked being exclusive", adding "He was serious about her and wanted to make it work." The inside source moreover said, "Liam is holding out hope that he and Miley will get back together, but that's not going to stop him from letting another relationship occur. They are both content with the situation."

Weighing in on the chance of the two rekindling their romance, the insider noted, "Although the relationship is over now, it doesn't mean it is over forever." The source further claimed, "There might be a chance of rekindling their romance in the future. They both are of the mind-set that if it's meant to be, it will be."

Although Miley herself is said still having "strong feelings for Liam", a reconciliation won't happen soon. On the reason why, the source explained, "She still is very young and currently is career driven. She knows this is her time to shine career-wise and that love will come whenever she wants it. She was a lot busier than he was, and distance also played a role in the break-up."

Liam and Miley have embarked on a romantic relationship since they met on the set of "The Last Song". In late August, representative for the younger brother of actor Chris Hemsworth has confirmed the two have broken up. Reasons for the split have been kept under tight wrap, but it was suggested that Miley's flirtatious act with her "LOL: Laughing Out Loud" co-star and racy new image might be the causes.
