The first promo video for season two exposes the New Directions kids covering Jay-Z and Alicia Keys' duet, 'Empire State of Mind', and Terri getting pissed at Will and Emma.
The first promo for season two of "Glee" has finally been brought forth for viewing pleasure. Coming out via Vulture, the thirty-second clip shows how Cory Monteith's Finn Hudson disappointed Lea Michele's Rachel Berry when he admitted he still has feelings for Quinn Fabray, played by none other than Dianna Agron.
The freshly-released footage gives a taste of the first new track as the New Directions kids cover Jay-Z's hit duet with Alicia Keys, "Empire State of Mind", given that their aim this time around is to make it to Nationals in New York City. It also teases the scene where Terri is pissed at Will and Emma.
Within the footage, Matthew Morrison's Will tells the kids, "We have to go from a small rebel force to a giant wall of sound." He adds, "They say we only sing show tunes and eighties pop. Let's show them how down we are." Jane Lynch's Sue Sylvester, in the meantime, tells Will, "Not everyone can be a champion. We need fry cooks and bus drivers."
Season two of "Glee" will be kicked off with an episode titled "Auditions" on Tuesday, September 21. Some new faces challenging old ones in Glee club auditions. Series creator Ryan Murphy previously said the episode is "about the idea that everybody, even if you're not in high school, your daily life is an audition for something."
