Hours before Wynn Resorts rep confirmed Paris is no longer welcome at Wynn Las Vegas and Encore, the hotel heiress tweets, 'These rumors going around are so ridiculous, untrue and cruel.'

Paris Hilton has been banned from two resorts on the Las Vegas Strip. Before the news was confirmed however, the hotel heiress has taken it to her Twitter page to announce that she is ignoring cruel rumors without mentioning which rumors she claims as false.
On late Tuesday night, August 31, the 29-year-old socialite tweeted, "These rumors going around are so ridiculous, untrue and cruel." In the words that follow in the same posting, she stressed, "I'm not going to even pay attention to them, because I know the truth." The message came just days after she thanked her fans for their supports post her arrest last Friday, August 27.
Hours after Paris posted her tweet, Wynn Resorts Ltd. spokeswoman Jennifer Dunne told The Associated Press that the former star of "The Simple Life" is no longer welcomed at Wynn Las Vegas and Encore. In her statement, the rep also let out that Paris' boyfriend, Cy Waits, has been dismissed from his job as top managing partner of the Tryst Nightclub at Wynn and XS The Nightclub at Encore.
Paris Hilton was arrested on drug possession allegations at 11:22 P.M. on Friday, August 27 after a bag of cocaine fell out of her bag when she and her boyfriend Cy was pulled over in front of the Wynn Hotel on the Vegas strip. Cy was arrested for driving under the influence, while Paris was booked into the Clark County jail and released without bail at about 2:45 A.M. on Saturday, August 28.
On Monday, August 30, prosecutors in Clark County, Nevada have filed a felony charge against Paris. According to courthouse spokeswoman Jillian Prieto, the sister of Nicky Hilton was charged with possession of a controlled substance and is facing possibility of four years in prison. She is set to be arraigned October 27 in Clark County District Court.
E! News, in the meantime, claimed that Paris is taking a hiding at her home in Los Angeles after she was arrested in Vegas. A source close to the socialite told the site that she is "devastated" about the incident. Another source said that her manager has turned down offer for her to host Labor Day parties.
"They're trying to capitalize on press from the situation, but she's turning them all down and staying at home with Cy, her family and her pets," so the source claimed.
