Trying her hand on acting with a role in the Peter Berg-directed sci-fi movie, the 'Rude Boy' hitmaker has been snapped in full Naval dress complete with a pair of black boots while on the set.
Rihanna has joined the production of sci-fi movie "
Battleship". The "Rude Boy" hitmaker was captured slipping into a blue military outfit with a pair of black boots for her supporting role in the Peter Berg-directed movie on Tuesday, August 31 as proven through pictures from the set that are made available on her fansite Rihanna Daily.
The also reveal that the girlfriend of Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Matt Kemp ditches her red hair for dark-colored locks. All of the pictures has her hiding the short do under a military cap and covering her upper body part with a safety vest. Some of the images expose her wandering around the set, while some others have her getting prepped for shooting.
"Battleship" is based on the game of the same name. It follows a Naval fleet which goes on an adventure across the seas, over the skies and land in a battle for planet survival against a superior force.

Taylor Kitsch are among the cast ensemble. Universal Pictures eyes to release it in theaters across the U.S. on May 18, 2012.
