The Hermione Granger depicter is left 'devastated' when an assistant accidentally ruined the entire set of images she made to help her remember her final days working on the series.
Emma Watson couldn't speak for three days after her photographs from the "Harry Potter" set were destroyed. The 20-year-old actress splashed out on an old-fashioned film camera to help her remember her final days working on the wizard film franchise, but was left "devastated" when an assistant accidentally ruined the entire set of images.
"I wandered into a second-hand camera shop, and this very nice gentleman persuaded me I needed an old black-and-white film camera," she said. "I realized I hadn't taken any photos of the last 10 years, so this time I've been bugging everyone."
"It takes me about 10 minutes to take one because I have to work out the aperture, the shutter speed, the focus and everything. But the girl who was helping me develop the film accidentally turned on the light in the dark room and wiped everything. I couldn't talk for about three days, I was devastated."
Emma has now vowed to shun more traditional types of photography and will only use high-tech gadgets and software. She added to Empire magazine, "Forget the arty cool effect of using old film cameras. It's b*****ks. Digital cameras and Photoshop is the way to go."
The final installation of the franchise, "Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows", is to be released in two parts. The "
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I" will open in cinemas in November, and the "
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II" in July next year.
