Additionally, Nicki is expected to make her solo TV debut during this year's Video Music Awards pre-show, and has unveiled the cover artwork of her will.i.am-featuring single 'Check It Out'.
Nicki Minaj channels her biker chick side in a new promo clip for 2010 MTV Video Music Awards. Lending her famous face to promote the upcoming awards event, the 25-year-old rapper is featured in the video hopping on a huge purple motorcycle and speeding through the California streets on her way to the show.
Nicki's hit single "Your Love" plays in the background of the clip, while her younger self day-dreams of one day ruling rap. An announcer is heard describing the plot story as saying, "Ever since she was little, she dreamed of dominating the world of rap. Now the world - and every man in it - is beneath her stilettos."
Meanwhile, MTV has earlier announced that the Young Money rapper will be making her first solo TV debut during the pre-show of the big event. She is expected to perform "Your Love". About her participation, she said in a statement, "I am truly honored to be a part of this year's VMAs. Just yesterday I was an underground female rapper. See, Barbz? Dreams do come true."
The ceremony of this year's MTV VMAs will be aired live from Nokia Theater in Los Angeles, California, on September 12. Chelsea Handler has been tapped to host the event, while Eminem, Justin Bieber and Kanye West have been announced to entertain the audience with their performances.
The VMAs aside, Nicki has offered a look at the artwork for her new single featuring Black Eyed Peas star will.i.am, "Check It Out". Through Twitter, she let out that the single cover is comic book inspired, depicting her and her collaborator as superhero in full costume.
