Taking a bit of her time from her busy schedule, the 'Sonny with a Chance' beauty visits the contestants of the modeling series and encourages them to join her cause to stop bullying.
Demi Lovato has brought an issue close to her heart to "America's Next Top Model". The "Sonny with a Chance" beauty, who was once a victim of bullies, has taken a bit of her time to visit the cycle 15 contestants of The CW's modeling show and enlightened them about her cause to stop bullying across the U.S.
Sharing her experience, the Mitchie Torres of "Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam" said, "I heard what you guys are doing, I know firsthand what it's like to be called names." She went on to recall, "They would call me fat and promiscuous. At the time when I was 12 years old, that was like the end of the world!"
The 18-year-old songstress also used the chance to introduce a website where victims of bullying can get help. She has also been working with the Pacer Center's Teens Against Bullying Initiative and spoke for the organization. "Know that the end of bullying begins with us, so let's change the world," she encouraged.
Demi is featured on the second episode of "America's Next Top Model" cycle 15. During which, the models will have offensive writings scribbled on their bodies and they are required to project them right to the camera. The new cycle itself will be kicked off on Wednesday, September 8 on The CW with 32 semi-finalists being cut down to fourteen finalists.
