Winning Suit Over RV, Taylor Lautner to Donate Settlement Money

Attorney Robert Barta reveals that the 'Twilight Saga' hunk will give away the 40,000 dollars he gets from McMahon's RV to children's charity The Lollipop Theater Network.

Taylor Lautner has won the lawsuit he threw against McMahon's RV, but won't be using the settlement money for his own benefit. His attorney Robert Barta told Us Magazine that the "Twilight Saga" hunk will donated the $400,000 he got after reaching a settlement with the RV dealership he sued earlier for failing to deliver his customized trailer in time.

"McMahon's RV has agreed to settle its dispute with Taylor Lautner," Robert declared the fact on Friday, September 3. He went on to detail, "McMahon's RV will pay $40,000 to Lautner, which Lautner will donate to The Lollipop Theater Network, a children's charity with which he has a long-standing relationship."

Over the children's charity itself, the lawyer explained, "The Lollipop Theater Network is a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing movies currently in theaters to children confined to hospitals due to chronic or life-threatening illnesses." He added, "The Lollipop Theater Network works with hospitals nationwide, including the greater Los Angeles and Orange County areas."

Taylor Lautner has filed a lawsuit against McMahon's RV on August 23. Report at the time claimed the "Valentine's Day" actor suffered from "emotional distress" and "annoyance" because of the "breach of contract" and "fraud". However, a source insisted to Us that the move was never about the money, but "it was to hold someone accountable."

"Taylor never ordered a customized RV - it was a used RV which needed simple safety-related repairs," the insider further set things straight. The inside source additionally stressed, "There was never any diva behavior. 'Emotional distress' is an automatic checked box on a fraudulent claim."

Days earlier, Brent McMahon who owns the dealership has challenged Taylor to a push-up contest to resolve the breach of contract lawsuit. He and his attorney declared if Taylor won, he would give the teen actor the $40,000 settlement sought by his lawyers, but if he won, he would donate the money to the Children's Hospital of Orange County.
