Kellan Lutz Grateful Puppy-Hurling Teen Found

Earlier, the 'Twilight Saga' hunk lets out his anger towards the animal cruelty act by tweeting, 'I've never been so disgusted before. That video is so incredibly disturbing and plain out wrong.'

A vocal supporter of animal rights, Kellan Lutz has expressed his appreciation towards the finding of a teenage girl who hurled six puppies into a river in Bosnia. On Sunday, September 5, the "Twilight Saga" hunk let out that he is grateful of the fact when re-tweeting to a Twitter user who informed him about the news.

"Thank you all for your replys! I'm so grateful that she has been found and even more grateful for the new law! Thank you ALL for taking a stand and using your voices against such actions as this," the 25-year-old wrote. "You all are my Heroes! Thx you!" The law he mentioned is a newly adopted Bosnian animal-protection law that faces the puppy abuser with a fine of $6,400 if convicted.

Minutes earlier, Kellan let out an angry rant at the Bosnian girl who was taped giggling when throwing the puppies to the river on his Twitter page. "What is going on with the search for the girl throwing the puppies into the river. I've never been so disgusted before," he shared. "That video is so incredibly disturbing and plain out wrong."

"Heard Michael Bay put up a bounty for her or info leading to her arrest," the tweet of the actor, who appeared in a PETA campaign with his dog Kola earlier this year, continued to read. "Thank you for that, and everyone who is not standing for this. That cruelty and any cruelty to animals helpless or not is unacceptable. I can't get the crying puppies out of my head. "

After PETA offered a $2,000 reward and film director Michael Bay offered a $50,000 reward for the prosecution of the young woman, police in the central Bosnian town of Bugojno claimed to have found the girl. On Friday, September 3, it was reported that the girl was found from leads given by animal protection groups in the country. The girl's parents will soon be questioned.
