When taking part in the charity event to raise money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association, the 'American Idol' alum debuts a brand new song titled 'Things Are Gonna Get Better'.
David Archuleta has indeed presented a brand new song when making an appearance on 2010 Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon. Participating in the annual charity event benefiting the Muscular Distrophy Association which was kicked off on Sunday, September 5, the season 7 runner-up of "American Idol" offered a listen to "Things Are Gonna Get Better".
Earlier in the day, the 19-year-old pop singer has taken it to his Twitter account to share with his fans what song he will be delivering during the show, which also featured fellow "Idol" alum Ace Young. "I'll be singing a new song Things Are Gonna Get Better tomorrow night in the 10 PM PST hour for the Jerry Lewis MDA telethon," he tweeted.
The "Something 'Bout Love" singer also took the opportunity to encourage his fans and followers to take part in supporting the charity. He wrote on his Twitter, "Hope you guys can tune in and help support the Muscular Dystrophy Association!" He added, "The telethon is all weekend. Lots of great things!"
The 45th Annual show Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon was started at 9 P.M. ET on September 5 and will conclude on Labor Day, September 6 at 6:30 P.M. EDT. Broadcast live from the South Point Hotel in Las Vegas, it has "So You Think You Can Dance" judge Nigel Lythgoe as special co-host and "Glee" cast members among many other stars participating.
