A script entitled 'Spiderman', which lines for a character called 'girl' are highlighted in yellow, has reportedly been seen on the coffee table in the former 'Lizzie McGuire' star's Hollywood home.
Hilary Duff could be up for a role in the untitled Spider-Man reboot. In its recent profile article about Hilary's new husband Mike Comrie, The Globe and Mail hinted that the 22-year-old actress seems to have got her hand on what could be the script for the Marc Webb-directed superhero movie.
When describing how the kitchen in Hilary's Hollywood home looks like, the publication noted that "a script marked 'Spiderman' sits on the table, with lines for a character simply called 'girl' highlighted in yellow". It was quick to point out it may be an indication the former "Lizzie McGuire" star could be a potential candidate for Gwen Stacy. Cinema Blend, however, threw in possibility that she may only get a small, cameo role.
While nothing is certain just yet about her involvement, the "
Beauty & the Briefcase" actress isn't the first actress related to this action fantasy movie.
Emma Roberts, Lily Collins, Imogen Poots and Teresa Palmer are reportedly vying to land the role of Gwen Stacy, who was portrayed by
Bryce Dallas Howard in "
Spider-Man 3".
The "Spider-Man" reboot will take its focus on a teenager grappling with both contemporary human problems and amazing super-human crises. Produced by Avi Arad and Laura Ziskin with using a screenplay penned by James Vanderbilt, it has
Andrew Garfield in the lead role. Columbia Pictures has set to release this movie in theaters across the U.S. on July 3, 2012.
