'What I turn to most in my closet are active clothes that look stylish but are comfortable,' Heidi shares the inspiration behind the line that has her teaming up with sports firm New Balance.
Heidi Klum is to launch her own range of active wear. The German supermodel has teamed up with sports firm New Balance to design a collection of tunics, woven tops, leggings and outerwear and says she has been inspired by her own busy live.
"I definitely know what it means to be on the go: four kids, school drop-offs, playdates, sports activities, the park, it goes on and on," the mother-of-four told WWD when talking about the range, which will be sold on website Amazon in the U.K., U.S., Germany and Japan. "As much as I love the gowns and sparkly clothes, what I turn to most in my closet are active clothes that look stylish but are comfortable and work for all of my activities. That is exactly what my line for New Balance is all about."
The advertising campaign was shot by Rankin, with the help of Amazon's clothing creative director Jan Dikkers, and Heidi was thrilled with the results. She said, "I am all about action and so is my line for New Balance; so for our first campaign, I envisioned myself on the trampoline - a fun symbol of energy and activity."
The collection will be available from October 7. As well as her active wear collection, earlier this year, Heidi released two maternity ranges as she wanted expectant mothers to still be stylish.
