As 'Only Girl (In the World)' makes its debut on Ryan Seacrest's radio show, the 'Rude Boy' singer can be heard singing about a woman who wants to become the center of her man's attention.
Rihanna is desperate for a love in new single "Only Girl (In the World)". As the first single off her fifth studio album "Loud" made its debut early Tuesday morning on September 7 on
Ryan Seacrest's radio show, the 22-year-old R&B singer can be heard singing about being as the center of attention of a man she loves.
"I want you to love me, like I'm a hot pie/Keep thinkin' of me, doin' what you like/So boy forget about the world cuz it's gon' be me and you tonight," the "Rude Boy" singer starts the tune. In the chorus part, she is heard singing, "Want you to make me feel like I'm the only girl in the world/ Like I'm the only one that you'll ever love/ Like I'm the only one who knows your heart/ Only girl in the world."
"" is produced by a Grammy-winning Norwegian producing team Stargate, who previously worked with the "Russian Roulette" singer in "Please Don't Stop the Music" and "Hate That I Love You". It is still unclear when this high-energy track will be made available for digital download.
While the single gives some sort of confirmation that the singer is moving away from the dark music of "Rated R" to a more fun stuff, Rihanna has explained earlier she doesn't want to go backward and remake "Good Girl Gone Bad". About the new album, she told fans in official fansite Rihanna Daily, "I wanted the next step in the evolution of Rihanna, and it's perfect for us."
