Through web series 'Girl Meets World', the 'Wizards of Waverly Place' star shares part of her original audition tape, her Europe trip to film 'Round and Round' and her childhood obsessions.
Selena Gomez has offered fans web series that takes them to the behind the scenes of her sophomore album "A Year Without Rain". Entitled "Girl Meets World", the new series let out in its first episode a look at the "Wizards of Waverly Place" star filming music video for "Round and Round" in Budapest, Hungary, and talking about discovering her dreams at 7 years of age.
"I love acting and I love music. I find that in different periods of my life I'll be obsessed with one over the other," the 18-year-old songstress said in the first installment of the series. She continued, "Acting was the first one that really took off for me and it was wonderful. The thing that sparked me wanting to do music a bit more was probably because I was named after Selena."
While sharing the first episode of the web series on her Facebook, Selena also announces that the remaining episodes will be available in the album's deluxe edition. She wrote on her wall, "Girl Meets World episode 1 is up on Vevo now, you can get all the episodes of this this series on my deluxe edition cd available for pre order now on www.selenagomez.com.
