In 'Britney/Brittany' episode to be aired next Tuesday, September 28, the actress famed for her Rachel Berry portrayal will also sing Paramore's 'The Only Exception'.
Britney Spears' songs won't be the only ones Lea Michele will be covering on the next episode of "Glee". A preview of tracks for the "Britney/Brittany" episode has come out and unravels that the actress who is portraying Rachel Berry on the hit series will also sing her version of Paramore's "The Only Exception".
The 24-year-old actress herself has previously expressed her desire to cover the band on the show. To Entertainment Weekly, she admitted, "I've wanted to do Paramore since the beginning." The "Spring Awakening" star further shared how familiar she is with the rock band's song she is performing. "The song that I'm doing is actually my ringtone," so she claimed.
Besides giving a listen to Lea's "The Only Exception", the freshly-released snippet also teases more on the New Directions version of "Me Against the Music", "... Baby One More Time", "I'm a Slave 4 U", "Toxic" and "Stronger". The last mentioned song, in particular, will have Kevin McHale's Artie taking the lead.
To be aired on FOX next Tuesday, September 28, "Britney/Brittany" will see Brittany and the gang trying to convince reluctant Mr. Schuester to let them do a Britney Spears number. Will himself is curious about Emma's new beau, Dr. Carl Howell, so he convinces her to bring him in to talk to the kids about dental hygiene.
