While Audrina Patridge and Bristol Palin show improvement on their second performance on 'Dancing with the Stars', the singer is panned for his bizarre routine with partner Chelsie Hightower.
While everybody else showed improvement on their second performance on "Dancing with the Stars" on Monday night, September 27,
Michael Bolton has been panned for his bizarre routine. In fact, the "When a Man Loves a Woman" hitmaker has been said to have presented the worst Jive in the 11 seasons of the show.
Taking the dance floor with partner Chelsie Hightower, the 57-year-old singer kicked off his routine by crawling out of a dog house and ended it with a dog bone in his mouth. After his performance, judge Bruno Tonioli scolded him, "You should take the bone and go back into the dog house. This is the worst jive in 11 seasons."
Judge Len Goodman didn't dig his number as well. He said, "I don't think the world is ready for your interpretation of the jive .... it probably needed a pooper scooper at the end." Carrie Ann Inaba chimed in, "Unfortunately, Michael, it was very awkward." All in all, the judges gave Michael the lowest score of the night, 12 out of 30.
The highest score of the night once again went to "Dirty Dancing" star
Jennifer Grey. Along with Derek Hough, she has successfully collected a score of 24 out of 30. For their Jive number, the pair induced positive comments. Len said, "It was bright. It was colorful. Full on, fabulous job," while Bruno exclaimed, "That was a killer jive! That choreography was difficult beyond belief."
Still, the biggest praise for improvement was given to "The Hills" beauty
Audrina Patridge who danced quickstep to "Love Machine". Collecting 23 out of 30 point, she drew praises like "That was the best dance tonight!", "The show pony is turning into Secretariat. The movement was great!" and "Huge improvement... I thought it was a fantastic performance" from all three judges.
Bristol Palin has also successfully stepped up her game. After performing quickstep to "You Can't Hurry Love", she and partner Mark Ballas earned a score of 22 out of 30. Dancing before her politician mother Sarah Palin, the 19-year-old intrigued Bruno to encourage her to become "an actress". Carrie Ann, meanwhile, likened her to previous "DWTS" contestant
Kelly Osbourne.
One more contestant will be sent home on Tuesday, September 28 during the result show.
Seal and Janelle Monae will entertain the audience.
