Taylor Swift Unlikely to Get Serious With Jake Gyllenhaal

Although she has sparked rumor she could be dating Jake after being spotted together over the weekend, the 'Mine' hitmaker is alleged 'not really interested in getting heavily involved with anyone.'

Taylor Swift might have sparked rumor she is dating Jake Gyllenhaal, but words are, she isn't looking for something serious. Even though she has been spotted spending the weekend with the "Prince of Persia: Sands of Time" hunk, the "Mine" hitmaker is alleged still putting her career as first priority.

One inside source told People magazine, "Taylor is very serious about her career. For her, it's all about the career right now. She's not really interested in getting heavily involved with anyone." Sounding off similar statement, a source close to Jake chimed in, "They're cute together. But I don't think there's anything to it. Everyone's talking about it. They hung out. But that's it. I don't think they're a couple."

The insider suggested that 20-year-old Taylor won't date celebrity for a long-term romance. "If she does have a serious relationship, it's probably going to be with someone who's not in the industry or someone who's not a household name," the source explained. "With Jake, she probably figures, why not be seen together and keep everyone guessing."

Taylor and Jake ignited speculation that they might be more than just a friend after they were spotted showing up together to "Saturday Night Live" taping on Saturday, October 23. The following day, they were seen out together again for a "friendly" lunch at Al Di La before strolling around Brooklyn's Park Slope neighborhood.

Us Magazine additionally reported that they toured fall foliage and went apple-picking at the Fishkill Farms in Hopewell Junction, New York on Saturday. "They were walking through the trees, having fun together. They looked happy," a witness detailed. "Some of the customers tried to take a photo of them, but they were hiding from them in the trees. They drove through the orchard and bought the apples on the way out."
