When "The Vampire Diaries" returns next Thursday, November 4, Nina Dobrev will find herself in danger. A sneak preview of the upcoming episode titled "Rose" gives out hints that three centuries-old vampires come to Mystic Falls and are holding captive Nina's mortal beauty character Elena.
Scrambling to find and rescue her are the Salvatore brothers, Stefan and Damon, who in the process, learn surprising new information about people, vampires and events in the distant past. In the meantime, Jeremy helps Bonnie after she casts a difficult and exhausting spell, and Caroline does what she can to make things easier for Tyler. Finally, Stefan and Damon reach a new understanding.
"Supernatural" actress Lauren Cohan will make her debut as Rose, a sexy and tough vampire who might catch the attention of Damon. Joining her are Trent Ford and Daniel Gillies as Trevor and Elijah respectively. Executive producer Julie Plec shared earlier, "They have deep ties to Katerina Petrova. They will be heavily featured in November sweeps episodes 'Rose' and 'Katerina.' "
