". The latest issue of Entertainment Weekly has given many first looks at upcoming films, and one of them features the 21-year-old as .
The picture, which scanned version is brought to attention by The Playlist, gives out a close-up look at the "Easy A
" actress in her role as Eugenia "Skeeter" Phelan, a young college graduate who decides to write a book about African-American house servants in early '60s Jackson, Mississippi. Looking over her shoulder in the photo is on-screen mother Allison Janney.
"The Help" is set in a small Mississippi town during the 1960s. Skeeter is a Southern society girl who returns from college determined to become a writer, but turns her friends' lives upside down with her decision to interview the black women who have spent their lives taking care of prominent southern families.
Skeeter's best friend's housekeeper, Aibileen Clark, is the first to open up to the dismay of her friends in the tight-knit black community. While Skeeter's life-long friendships hang in the balance, unlikely friendships are forged and a new sisterhood emerges, but not before everyone in town has a thing or two to say themselves when they become unwittingly, and unwillingly, caught up in the changing times.
This film adaptation of Kathryn Stockett's novel has been set for August 12, 2011 release in the United States. "Winter's Bone
