The 'Not Myself Tonight' singer has debuted the first of eight songs performed by her on the soundtrack for 'Burlesque' on Ryan Seacrest's KIIS-FM radio show.
Christina Aguilera is back with her signature pipes with new song "Express". On Wednesday, November 3, the "Not Myself Tonight" singer has treated her fans with a full listen to the lead single from her upcoming musical film "Burlesque" as it made its world premiere on Ryan Seacrest's KIIS-FM radio show.
The 29-year-old starts by singing, "It's a cold and crazy world that's ragin' outside / Well baby me and all my girls are bringin' on the fire / Show a little leg, gotta shimmy your chest / It's a life, it's a style, it's a need, it's Burlesque". As she continues on, she belts out, "E-X-P-R-E-S-S, love, sex / Ladies no regrets / E-X-P-R-E-S-S, love, sex / Ladies no regrets".
"Express" is the first of eight songs performed by Christina on the soundtrack, which will hit U.S. stores and iTunes on November 22. Some of the other tracks are "Tough Lover", "Bound to You" and "But I Am a Good Girl". A taste of the latest song can be heard in a recently-released clip which features Christina dancing around a pole.
In "Burlesque", Christina takes the role of Ali, a small-town girl with a big voice who escapes hardship and an uncertain future to follow her dreams to Los Angeles. Landing a job as a cocktail waitress at a majestic but ailing theater The Burlesque Lounge, the young ingenue makes her way from the bar to the stage and helps restore the club to its former glory.
