Miranda, who is also celebrating her 27th birthday, won Song of the Year as well as Video of the Year for "The House That Built Me", beating her other nominated single "White Liar". That's how I like to start the night right there. I can relax and get drunk now! ... If Trace were here - and he's not - I'm sure he would have said something like, 'You better be glad we won this, or I would have whipped somebody's ass.' "
Another winner on the night was Lady Antebellum
. Thanks to their song "Need You Now", the country trio beat Miranda in winning Single of the Year. They also scored Vocal Group of the Year.
