The daughter of Sarah Palin survives another week of low scores on 'Dancing with the Stars', while 'The Boy Is Mine' singer is left stunned and tearful by her elimination.
"Dancing with the Stars" has presented another jaw-dropping elimination. Although
Bristol Palin couldn't escape getting after her two performances on Monday night, November 15, it was strong contender
Brandy who was given the boot.
Coming to the result show on Tuesday night, November 16, both Bristol and Brandy found themselves in the bottom two position on the leaderboard. They were separated only by four points. The two received the same score of 27 on their Paso Doble numbers, but Brandy pushed ahead when she earned a perfect score for her Argentine Tango routine.
Brandy's elimination didn't only come as a surprise to members of the audience, but also to the "What About Us?" singer herself. "I don't know how to feel right now. It hasn't processed yet for me," so she said with tears streaming down her face. When judge Bruno Tonioli asked her to do an out-of-competition performance on the finale, she did not reply.
The singer's professional dancing partner
Maksim Chmerkovskiy was more positive on his goodbye speech. "People vote and their voices count," he said. "I don't regret a second of the last five years of my being on the show and definitely not a second of me being on this season. It's been an amazing journey."
With Brandy out of the run for the coveted mirrorball trophy, Bristol Palin will be up against former "Dirty Dancing" star
Jennifer Grey and "Cory in the House" actor Kyle Massey on the two-night finale next week on November 22 and 23.
