The 'American Idol' alum and wife Deanna announce their family have welcome twins Adalynn Rose and Noah James on Wednesday, November 17, and assure the newborns are healthy.
Chris Daughtry has got a double joy on Wednesday, November 17. The fourth-place finalist on season five of "American Idol" has made use of his official website to proudly announce that he and wife Deanna have welcomed their fraternal twins, Adalynn Rose and Noah James, who were conceived through gestational surrogacy.
Acting like any other proud parent, the lead vocalist of rock band
DAUGHTRY dished information about each of his newborns. "Adalynn Rose weighs 6 pounds and 5 ounces and was born first at 11:06 A.M. EDT; Noah James weighs 5 pounds and 5 ounces and was born second at 11:25 A.M. EDT," so he shared.
The "What I Want" singer also expressed his happiness as saying, "Our family is overwhelmed with joy by these two precious gifts from God. The babies are both healthy and resting. Thanks to everyone for their love and prayers." His wife Deanna, meanwhile, opted to go with Twitter and wrote, "I am so thankful for our precious gifts from God! Adalynn Rose & Noah James are doing great! :)"
Chris brought out the news he and his wife were expecting twins back in July. At that time, the rocker stated, "Big news - Deanna and I are having a boy and a girl. We're very excited about that. We do have names picked out but we're going to keep them to ourselves until further notice." He and Deanna are already parents to son Griffin and daughter Hannah.
