The former 'Dirty Dancing' star grabs perfect 10s for both her final performances on 'Dancing with the Stars', while the daughter of Sarah Palin fails to impress the judges with her freestyle number.
Jennifer Grey,
Bristol Palin and Kyle Massey have all delivered their final dances on "Dancing with the Stars". All three finalists took the dance floor to perform two rounds of dance routine on Monday night, November 22, and Jennifer continued to dazzle, while Bristol got stuck in the bottom position.
50-year-old Jennifer first captured the judges' heart with her redemption dance. Performing a paso double number, she and dance partner Derek Hough got Len Goodman on his feet for a standing ovation, Bruno Tonioli wishing he can give her an 11, and Carrie Ann Inaba exclaiming, "This is the meaning of redemption!" The routine brought them their first perfect score of the night.
The Golden Globe-nominated actress returned to the dance floor later that night for a freestyle number. Picking "Do You Love Me" from "Dirty Dancing", she tossed in some moves from the movie and drew more praises. All three judges gave her 10 each for the performance with Len calling her "a juggernaut" and Bruno praising her for her versatility. All in all, she collected 60 out of 60.
While Jennifer did flawlessly on her two final dances, the same can't be said to Bristol. The daughter of politician Sarah Palin once again found herself on the bottom of the pack after the Monday night performance. While she did get the judges to agree she has improved after her redemption dance, she fell short on the freestyle round.
Together with dancing partner Mark Ballas, Bristol performed to "Cell Block Tango" from Broadway musical "Chicago" for their freestyle. Although Carrie Ann gave her credit to her dancing in a cage, Bruno pointed out that her performance was "not quite at the level" of what a finale night freestyle should be. For her two dances, she got a combined total score of 52 out of 60.
Separating Jennifer and Bristol in the middle was Kyle Massey. Despite some criticism, his redemption dance got Len to admit, "You've gone from messy Massey to marvelous." But, the "Cory in the House" star really got the judges excited over his freestyle. Bruno even called it truly explosive entertainment. In total, he collected 56 out of 60.
Winner of "Dancing with the Stars" season 11 will be announced on a live results show which will be aired on Tuesday, November 23 starting at 9 P.M. on ABC.
