Pic: Lingerie-Clad Ashley Greene Looks Terrified in 'The Apparition'

Another image from the Todd Lincoln-directed supernatural thriller lets out a shot of the 'Twilight Saga' beauty standing alone with horrified look across her face.

Warner Bros. Pictures has unleashed a couple of images from "The Apparition". Both pictures, found via Bloody Disgusting, give out first look at Ashley Greene with a terrified look on her face. One captures her in a black lingerie and accompanied by co-star Sebastian Stan, while the other has her standing alone.

In this supernatural thriller, the "Twilight Saga" beauty and the "Gossip Girl" actor take the role of young couple Kelly and Ben. When frightening events start to occur in their home, the two discover they are being haunted by a presence that was accidentally conjured during a university parapsychology experiment.

In an interview with Sci-Fi Wire at the 2010 SXSW Film Festival, Ashley has explained what to expect from this movie. "It's not going to be that slash-gore movie. It's that thing that just scares you to the core, and it's terrifying," she shared. "The way that I can best explain it is that we do everything that a normal person would do."

"Everyone is going to watch it and say, 'Do this!' And that's what we're going to do," the 23-year-old actress spilled further. "Unfortunately, it doesn't solve things, and we're still having to deal with them. I think that's the scariest part, is when you do everything that you should do and you still end up ruined."

Inspired by true events, "The Apparition" is directed and written by Todd Lincoln. In addition to Ashley and Sebastian, it has Tom Felton, Luke Pasqualino and Julianna Guill in supporting roles. September 9, 2011 will be the date this thriller opens wide in theaters across the United States.
