Determined to give her autistic son Evan a great time on the holiday, the former girlfriend of Jim Carrey shares, 'I'm just gonna get him everything he asked Santa for.'
is buying her son a macaw and a lizard for Christmas. The blond beauty is determined to ensure Evan, her autistic eight-year-old child from her marriage to John Asher, has a great time over the festive period and wants to buy him everything on his wish list.
"I'm just gonna get him everything he asked Santa for, which is a Macaw parrot and Legos," she said. "And I think he asked for a lizard. It's typical boy stuff."
While Jenny loves having a traditional Christmas with her son, she admits there is one problem for the pair, they are allergic to fir trees, but still insist on decorating one in their home. She admitted, "We're both allergic to Christmas trees. We have to move out of the house for the first three days a Christmas tree is in the house. We're so allergic to them!"
Though Jenny split up with long-term partner
Jim Carrey earlier this year after five years of dating, she and Evan remain in contact with the comic actor and she wishes him well for 2011. She told Parade, "We still love Jimmy, which is what we call him, and we wish him the best as he wishes us for future work and future love. We still remain friendly as ever."
As well as splitting from Jim, Jenny also saw a four-month romance with Jason Toohey end recently and she says her New Year's resolution is to be more selective with men. Asked what she is looking forward to in 2011, she said, "I'm looking forward to dating. I'm going to be picky while dating."
