The actor portraying Stefan Salvatore in the series is expected to sign autographs, take photos, answer questions and party with attendees of Eyecon in March 2011.
Fans of "The Vampire Diaries" are up for a treatment early next year. Eyecon is going to present the first ever North American fan convention for the vampire series from March 25-27, 2011 in Atlanta, Georgia. One of its leading stars,
Paul Wesley, has been confirmed to make an appearance.
The 28-year-old actor famed for portraying Stefan Salvatore on the show will sign autographs, take photos, answer questions and party with attendees at the event held at The Westin Atlanta Airport Hotel. So far, he will be joined by Robert Pralgo, who plays Tyler Lockwood's father Mayor Richard Lockwood.
There is no word yet on whether or not
Nina Dobrev and
Ian Somerhalder will also take part at the convention. It has been noted, however, that there will be more cast and crew to be added in the days leading to the event.
Eyecon's official site detailed that the convention will feature "games, panels, parties, Celebrity Q&A and Photo Op Sessions, Celebrity Autograph Sessions, a Cocktail Party and Banquet with the Stars." There will also be a Masquerade Ball on Saturday Evening, March 26. Tickets go on sale at starting from Wednesday, December 29.
