Releasing the first photo of her son on her personal blog, the Victoria's Secret model praises husband Orlando Bloom for being there for her during 'a long, arduous and difficult labor'.
has let the world catch a glimpse of her newborn son. On Tuesday, January 18, twelve days after giving birth, the 27-year-old model released the first photo of Flynn on her Kora Organics site. The picture, featuring her laying in bed as she nurses the baby boy, was taken by husband
Orlando Bloom.
Along with the photo, the Victoria's Secret Angel shared details of her son's birth. "On the 6th of January I gave birth to our beautiful little son Flynn," she wrote on her personal blog. "He weighed 9lb 12 ounces (a very healthy and big baby boy)." She then noted that she "gave birth to him naturally; without any pain medication and it was a long, arduous and difficult labor."
In the posting, the Australian beauty also gave credit to her actor husband for being there for her, writing, "Orlando was with me the whole time supporting and guiding me through it. I could not have done it without him." She added, "We are so happy and are enjoying our time together as a family. He is our little ray of sunshine."
Miranda and Orlando secretly tied the knot in early July 2010 after nearly three years of dating. A couple weeks after announcing their union, Miranda announced in August the same year that she and her actor husband were expecting their first child. At the time, she revealed that she was already four months into her pregnancy.
