Nick Cannon says he's the 'happiest' he's ever been after wife Mariah Carey gave birth to a son and daughter on Saturday, April 30.
says he's the "happiest" he's ever been following the birth of his twins.
The "America's Got Talent" host was thrilled when wife Mariah Carey gave birth to a healthy son and daughter on Saturday, April 30 and has been "humbled" at their arrival.
Writing on Twitter, he said, "I'm in the happiest place I've ever been in my life. I never had more amazing things happening. I am humbled by God's Favor! (sic)"
As well as celebrating the birth of the twins - whose names have yet to be named - Nick and Mariah Carey
also renewed their wedding vows at the unnamed Los Angeles hospital.
He wrote, "Thank you to @THEREVAL who came all the way to the hospital to renew me and my wife's vows and pray with our children. (sic)"
Following the birth, Mariah's spokesperson Cindy Berger - who revealed the couple listened to the singer's hit "We Belong Together" as the babies arrived - said the star was doing "really well" and was completely calm throughout her labour, unlike Nick.
Cindy said, "Nick was very nervous and Mariah was completely calm. Mariah thought it was another false labour and Nick was driving her to the hospital and she very calm and the music was blasting."
"When they walked into the hospital, Nick was going the wrong way and they nurse redirected them to go the maternity ward, and I said to her, 'That's right out of 'I Love Lucy',' and she laughed."
