'The Son of No One' actress takes some time to teach her fashionable little daughter how to swim while she's accompanying husband Tom Cruise shooting his new film in Miami, Florida.

Katie Holmes and her famous toddler, Suri Cruise, were spotted enjoying swimming time at a hotel pool in Miami on Monday, May 16. While accompanying husband Tom Cruise filming for Broadway adapted film, "Rock of Ages" in Florida, the former "Dawson's Creek" starlet took her time to teach her beloved daughter to swim.

Before dipping her tiny feet in the pool, the 5-year-old "most fashionable child" in the world applied a sunscreen to her face. She wore a ruffled red mini bikini and started to hit the pool without using any swimming equipment. Donning a bareback blue swimming suit, Katie then followed her daughter to soak her body in the water and she started to teach the little lady how to keep her head up from the water.

Suri looked very cheerful during the "mommy and me" time. And when the twosome finally finished the swimming lesson, Suri shielded her face from the hot sun, putting on her mother's white floppy hat and then taking a rest on a poolside lounge chair.

In a recent update report earlier this May, Katie has confirmed that she will join Chace Crawford in a forthcoming romantic comedy flick, "Responsible Adults". She will play a 30-year-old med student who falls in love with a young guy. She than realizes that she was his babysitter years ago.
