Although he thinks Megan was fun to work with, the Sam Witwicky of the autobot war film franchise reveals her exit from 'Transformers: Dark of the Moon' is a blessing for him.
Shia Labeouf once again dished on
Megan Fox's departure from the "
Transformers" film franchise. After saying that "Megan Fox's " in an interview a few weeks ago, this time the actor who plays Sam Witwicky in the autobot war film series admitted that he actually feels blessed Megan is out of the project.
"I love Megan. She was great in the movies she was in...fun to work with, great energy, great personality," the depicter of Kale Brecht in thriller movie "
Disturbia" told Ben Lyons of E! News recently. "But it's kind of a blessing that she wasn't in this movie...selfishly."
Shia, however, has his own reason for the opinion. Explaining that he needs a legitimate concern for his character, the 24-year-old actor said, "In the second movie, [Sam and Mikaela] became one character. There was no arc. There was no room for Sam to be heroic. They were sharing the same experience."
In a separate interview with Italy's Un'intervista magazine, Shia meanwhile opened up about his fame which he claimed through "Transformers". The Max Petroni of "
Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle" said, "Popularity is like a drug. I would not want the worldwide popularity of
Robert Pattinson or
Justin Bieber." He added, "Even if you don't reach those levels, it's hard not to feel at least a little almighty."
