The daughter of Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne is sticking up to Miley when the 'Can't Be Tamed' singer is caught on camera making a comment about being 'a stoner.'
Kelly Osbourne was quick to defend Miley Cyrus after a video of the 19-year-old songstress calling herself "a stoner" made its way out. "u guys if @MileyCyrus is not recording/filming/touring she is works everyday how could she possible do all that if she was a stoner! #think," 27-year-old Kelly posted a tweet to deny that her "So Undercover" co-star was a junkie.
Kelly insisted that what people heard and saw in the video, which was taken from Miley's 19th birthday at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, were all jokes. "let me make something very clear after @MileyCyrus salvia incident we started calling her bob miley as a JOKE!" The judge of "Fashion Police" clarified her playful banter with the birthday girl which was caught on camera.
"The cake was also A JOKE!" Kelly additionally explained about the birthday cake which featured the face of Bob Marley. The short-haired singer went on to blast whoever took the footage and leaked it to the media, "it makes me sick that @MileyCyrus so called 'friends' would sell her out and lead people 2 believe she is someone that she is not!"
In line with Kelly's statement, a representative for Miley came to the teen singer's defense as well. "The cake was a joke and Miley was being sarcastic," the publicist told Access Hollywood on Sunday, November 27. "It is being completely taken out of context."
In the video, Miley's seen mocking herself when presented with a "Bob Miley" cake. She said, "You know you're a stoner when your friends make you a 'Bob Miley' cake. You know you smoke way too much f***ing weed." In response, Kelly stated, "I thought salvia was your problem, Miley." She obviously referred to Miley being caught, last year, smoking salvia out of a bong.
