The rumor arises after the 'Back to December' hitmaker confirms that she will reveal an 'earth-shattering, not recent, but absolute crash-and-burn heartbreak' in the upcoming project.
After famously scribing and singing songs about her failed romances with
Joe Jonas,
John Mayer and
Taylor Lautner,
Taylor Swift might target her most-recent fling,
Jake Gyllenhaal, in her new studio album. She raised such speculation after confirming in a cover story for Vogue's February issue that she will once again pen a song about her bad romance experience.
"There's just been this earth-shattering, not recent, but absolute crash-and-burn heartbreak, and that will turn out to be what the next album is about," the Grammy-winning singer said. "The only way that I can feel better about myself-pull myself out of that awful pain of losing someone-is writing songs about it to get some sort of clarity."
Talking about her love life, Swift was not shy to admit that she's "ridiculously stupid" when it comes to love. The country/pop artist, however, has learned her lesson and now has a list of "red flags." She will immediately say no to a guy who easily feels threatened by her, or a man who cares so much about "privacy" that they have to "dig a tunnel under a restaurant" to leave unnoticed.
Aside from preparing her new album, Taylor is just enjoying her single life. "I got nothing going on! I just don't really feel like dating," the blonde beauty stated before adding that she's perfectly content with being single, "I really have this great life right now, and I'm not sad and I'm not crying this Christmas, so I am really stoked about that."
