Two brand new clips from "LOL" focusing on Miley Cyrus's character, Lola, have been released. In one of the clips which sees her facing the wrath of her mother for trashing the house in a wild party, she is seen on bed cuddling while playfully making out with her love interest, who is played by Douglas Booth.
Lola is batting for both teams in another clip. Her secret is revealed as her mother accidentally finds her diary under the pile of clothes in her room. Curious about what she has written, her mother reads it and finds out that she's been romantically involved with some boys. Her mom also stumbles into pictures of her locking lips with another girl.
"LOL" revolves around a rebellious teenage girl who navigates the peer pressures of high school romance and friendship in a world connected by YouTube, iTunes and Facebook. While she begins her sexual awakening and experiments with drugs, her mother struggles to move on from her divorce by dating a good-natured cop.
Miley is joined in the cast ensemble by Demi Moore who portrays her on-screen mother, Marlo Thomas who takes the role of Gran, and Adam G. Sevani who will star as Max. The movie itself is directed by Lisa Azuelos, and will hit theaters in the United Kingdom on July 1. The United States release date hasn't been announced.
