The 'Wet the Bed' singer responds to the latest backlash coming from the wife of Blake Shelton by tweeting, 'Using my name to get publicity?'
The feud between
Chris Brown and
Miranda Lambert continues to heat up. He took to Twitter to respond to the antagonistic move of the country singer who showed a poster that read "Take Notes Chris Brown" before she performed her single about a woman killing her abusive husband, "Gunpowder & Lead".
On Friday, February 17, the "She Ain't You" singer tweeted, "Using my name to get publicity? I love it! Perform your heart out!" A few minutes later, he posted, "Go buy @miranda_lambert album! So motivational and 'PERFECT'!"
Miranda was seen donning a black sparkling mini dress when holding up the green-colored poster in front her fans at the University of Massachusetts on Thursday. "Get a good picture now, put it on Twitter," the 28-year-old country singer said to crowd.
"I've been in a world of hurt with Chris Brown fans lately ... but see, I just have to speak my mind because where I come from, beating up on a woman is never okay," the wife of
Blake Shelton went on. "So that's why my daddy taught me early on in life how to use a shotgun."
The argument between Breezy and Miranda started after the "Over You" singer slammed his two performances on 2012 Grammy Awards. She tweeted one day after the award-giving event, "Chris Brown twice? I don't get it. He beat on a girl..."
Reacting to the backlashes that coming from his haters, Breezy posted two tweets on his verified Twitter account but then removed them. "HATE ALL U WANT BECUZ I GOT A GRAMMY Now! That's the ultimate F**k OFF!" he wrote before adding, "I'M BACK SO WATCH MY BACK as I walk away from all this negativity #teambreezygrammy."
