Looking energetic in a black leather jacket and matching tight pants, Demi performed her single 'Give Your Heart a Break' to the audience's delight during the March 15 result night of the talent show.
Demi Lovato cheered the audience as she took on the stage of "American Idol" on Thursday night, March 15. Delivering an energetic performance to the result show of the FOX singing competition, the former "Sonny with a Chance" star belted out her hit single "Give Your Heart a Break".
Channeling her inner rocker as she kicked off her stage act, the "Skyscraper" hitmaker looked attractive in a leather jacket, tight pants and sky-high heels. At one point, she is seen interacting with her guitarist while dancing a little. By the end of the performance, the 19-year-old starlet received a standing ovation from the audience.
Demi last appeared on "American Idol" back in 2010 along with her famous ex-boyfriend Joe Jonas. After wrapping her returning performance on Thursday, she took to her Twitter and excitedly wrote, "Wow!!! Thank you guys!!! That was so much fun... Can't believe I just sang in front of Steven Tyler, JLO & Randy Jackson!"
In addition to Demi, the result show featured performance by DAUGHTRY, who introduced their latest single called "Outta My Head". Lana Del Rey was also performing, but her show will not be aired until next week. Meanwhile, the unlucky contestant who must went home that night was 16-year-old Shannon Magrane.
