One of the British boyband members, Tom Parker, admits during a street interview that he and his bandmates 'shouldn't have said it,' but still puts the blame on the 'Voice' mentor's attitude.
The Wanted aren't exactly apologetic over their recent jab at Christina Aguilera. Two days after calling the judge/mentor of "The Voice" a "total b***h" on a radio interview, band member Tom Parker admitted that they shouldn't have bad-mouthed the pop diva. Still, he was quick to put the blame on her attitude toward them.
"We shouldn't have said it, to be honest with you," said 23-year-old Parker when asked by TMZ about his jab at the 31-year-old singer. Speaking outside the Mondrian Hotel in Hollywood, the Bolton native went on to explain why the British boyband dissed her in the first place. He noted, "We just think manners cost nothing, you know what I mean?"
Parker and his fellow bandmates expressed their dislike at Aguilera in an interview with 92.3 Now radio station in New York last Friday, April 27. The subject was brought up when Max George was asked why he didn't give a little hug and a kiss to the "Not Myself Tonight" singer like what he did to Jennifer Lopez on "American Idol".
As a response, George confessed, "She's was bit scary, to be honest." Parker chimed in, "She's a total b***h. She might not be a b***h in real life but to us she was a b***h. She just sat there and didn't speak to us. Wouldn't even look at us." Another member Siva Kaneswaran added that the "Beautiful" hitmaker was "quite rude."
