Pics: Miley Cyrus Takes Home New Puppy From Walmart Parking Lot

The 'Can't Be Tamed' singer names the pooch Happy, which breed is unknown but described as a 'Rottweiler Beagle mix' by the starlet.

Miley Cyrus has just got a new puppy buddy. The former Disney darling has taken home a little dog on Tuesday, May 1 after finding it abandoned on the parking lot of Walmart. On the following day, the 19-year-old starlet introduced her newly adopted puppy on Twitter, revealing that she named it Happy.

"He was left in a box in front of Walmart," Miley tweeted Wednesday. "I don't understand how people can be so cruel. That's why we named him Happy." In a following posting, she shared a photo of herself and Happy while they're in a salon. "Happy & I getting 'groomed'," so she wrote in the caption.

The girlfriend of Liam Hemsworth explained that she's not 100% sure of the puppy's breed but suspects it is a "Rottweiler Beagle mix :) ." Later, she also shared a series of photos of her latest pet, which caption read, "from cardboard to Maison Martin Margiela."

After Miley adopted the lucky puppy, her boyfriend Liam was spotted bought some foods for the new dog. PEOPLE reported that the Gale of "The Hunger Games" picked up bags of pet food and a new dog bed from a store on Tuesday.

Miley is known for her love to adopt pooches. Before Happy, she already has three puppies called Lila, Floyd and Ziggy. The former "Hannah Montana" star recently also encouraged Khloe Kardashian to keep a dog to keep her company when the younger sister of Kim Kardashian moved to Dallas, Texas with husband Lamar Odom.
