A representative for the 'Boyfriend' singer has denied the break-up rumor sparked by a fake tweet as stating, 'fake tweet-never on his account or from him.'
Justin Bieber has neither split from
Selena Gomez nor tweeted goodbye to her. Soon after words ran rampant that the "Boyfriend" singer gave a hint at his separation from his songstress girlfriend via Twitter, both of his representative and his manager stepped forward to deny the growing speculation.
To Gossip Cop, the Canadian heartthrob's rep simply said, "fake tweet never on his [Justin's] account or from him." Sounding off similar denial was his manager Scooter Braun, who told Hollywood Life that the tweet was "fake" and insisted that the 18-year-old pop sensation "never tweeted that."
Spreading news about the fake tweet, Perez Hilton earlier reported that Justin wrote on the micro-blogging site, "thank you for the time i had with you but i have to move on." Noting that the tweet was quickly deleted, the gossip site further speculated that the message could mean that the "Never Say Never" hitmaker has broken up with Selena.
The lovebirds were also hit with split rumor when the "Eenie Meenie" singer was accused by Mariah Yeater of impregnating her during a concert in Los Angeles. Back then, a source claimed there was tension between the
Usher protege and the Alex Russo of "Wizards of Waverly Place", but the report was never proven to be true.
